Olsson Blind and Shutter is a family business that prides itself on providing products and service that exceed expectations. Our goal is to help bring years of beauty and functionality to your space, whether residential or commercial.
Our owner, Lars, immigrated from Sweden to the United States in 1987 to live the American Dream. He started working for a commercial blind company, which took him throughout the United States. Through this experience, he found a passion for helping and making people happy. When an opportunity to work in a residential setting presented itself, he decided to take the opportunity to expand his knowledge and spend more time with his family.
When the 2008 recession hit, he took a leap of faith and started his own business. It gave him an opportunity to continue to connect with people, ply his trade, and showcase his Scandinavian heritage that has instilled in him a sense of passion, hard work, and precision.
In response to the demand his quality of work has generated, Lars has brought his son, Nik, and his daughter, Ann, into the business. Nik has studied under Lars for five years and prides himself on providing the same service his father has delivered for over 30 years. Ann, along with Lars’ wife, Tina, provide Olsson Blind and Shutter’s distinctive customer service from the office.
